Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (Am Sandwerder 5, 14109 Berlin)

What languages does Berlin write in? In varying locations, PARATAXE regularly invites Berlin authors, who pen their work in languages other than German, to take part in conversations, readings and new translations.

On May 15th we present a unique digital special edition of PARATAXE presentations with: Delphine de Stoutz (France and Switzerland/Berlin), Ani Menua (Armenia/Berlin), Brygida Helbig (Poland/Berlin) and Elsye Suquilanda (Ecuador/Berlin)!

Delphine’s texts will be translated especially for this evening by Ina Böhme and read by Karim Chérif. Ani’s Armenian texts will be translated by herself into German and English and read in Russian by Savva Trentyev. Brygida’s text was translated by Natalie Buschhorn and will be read by herself. Elyse’s texts are multilingual and are performed by herself with the support of  multitalented Jarno Eerola.

In German, Armenian, Russian, French, Polish and Spanish with translations … hosted by Martin Jankowski.
