At the poetic performance, Elsye Suquilanda showed the damage caused by the transnational corporation ChevronTexaco and referred to Human rights of those affected and injured this multinational corporation.
At the premises of the Embassy of Ecuador in Germany, on November 13, Elsye Suquilanda multifunctional video artist, Ecuadorian citizen based in Berlin presented her new collection of poems entitled “te envío mis amígdalas en una paloma mensajera”
After the words of Ambassador, Jorge Jurado, editor Cristian Forte of the Milena Berlin publishing platform mentioned Elsye Suquilanda print publications. Writer Esther Andrari Argentina stressed Elsye Suquilanda talent and compared with the German avant-garde poet Else Lasker-Schüler (1869-1945).
The tenor Laurent Martin accompanied the poetic performance in German, while Elsye Suquilanda recited in Spanish, and, in parallel, the Finnish artist Jarno Eerola Aitokaiku handled the installation of video with music. The stage name Aitokaiku Means Aito (authentic, original), kaiku (eco), i.e. a compound that created the artist, lowest sound fused the eruption of volcanoes like Cotopaxi.
As part of this collection, Elsye Suquilanda presented Chevron-Texaco litigation condemn the massive pollution caused this consortium in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
The event was attended by Martin Rennert, director of the Berlin University of the Arts (UKB by STI German acronym), among other Berliners and Germans as members of the Latin American community citizens, and Representatives of other diplomatic missions as the Plurinational State of Bolivia and Uruguay.
